Infinity Capital Partners Advises Petroflex North America Ltd

Gainesville, TX (June 22, 2022) – Petroflex North America Ltd (Petroflex or the Company), a Gainesville, TX based manufacturer of extruded high-density polyethylene (“HDPE”) piping and conduit has obtained an investment from Transition Capital Partners (“TCP”) of Southlake, TX with support from Plexus Capital. Infinity Capital Partners served as exclusive investment banking advisor to Petroflex. Mitchell Shauf and the Petroflex executive team will continue to manage the Company post-closing.

Headquartered in Gainesville, TX, Petroflex was founded by Pete and Susie Shauf in 1983. The Company manufactures superior quality, continuous length HDPE conduit and accessories for the electric utility, telecommunications, data/voice, renewables (wind & solar), and irrigation markets. Upon Pete’s passing in 2020, his son Mitchell took over as CEO of the Company and, together with the executive team, expanded the Company’s capabilities and customer base.

“Carrying on Pete’s legacy has been both a challenge and an honor,” said Mitchell Shauf, CEO at Petroflex. “He left an indelible mark on the business and the community. We’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to expand on the foundations of the business while maintaining a commitment to our customers that “good service is not extinct.”

“We are very proud to partner with the Petroflex team and support yet another growing Texas based family-owned business” said Andy Foskey, Managing Partner at TCP. “We look forward to working with the management team to support the company’s continued growth and its longstanding commitment to quality, people and community.”

The acquisition marks the sixth investment where TCP and Plexus Capital have partnered together. Alongside further investment from Petroflex management, the Company will seek to capitalize on numerous growth avenues across the plastic pipe industry.

“We are excited to see the Petroflex family’s legacy continue in partnership with the team at TCP. Their commitment to building relationships and fostering business growth makes them an excellent fit to partner with the Company and the Gainesville community,” said Bryan Vahlberg, Managing Partner at Infinity Capital Partners.

McAfee & Taft served as legal counsel to Petroflex, and Winston & Strawn served as legal counsel to TCP.
