Infinity Capital Partners Advises Physician's Choice Hospice in Strategic Transaction with Traditions Health

OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 17, 2020) - Physician’s Choice Hospice (PCH), an Edmond, Oklahoma-based hospice company has been acquired by Traditions Health (Traditions) of College Station, Texas, a portfolio company of Dorilton Capital. The transaction closed on Sept. 15, 2020 and financial terms were not disclosed. Infinity Capital Partners served as exclusive investment banking advisor to Physician’s Choice Hospice and Phillips Murrah P.C. acted as legal advisor.

Since inception in 2008, PCH has emerged as the leading hospice provider across the state of Oklahoma. Physician’s Choice Hospice has built a reputation of high-quality end of life care, working with patients and families to offer comfort to those nearing the end of their life’s journey.

“We are excited to be joining the Traditions family with its strong leadership team, highly regarded brand and leading Oklahoma industry position,” said Ginger Barsotti, Founder and President of Physician’s Choice. “Building this company from the ground up has been one of the greatest joys of my life. This partnership will allow us to support our long-term growth initiatives, predicated on our rich history as a private company with a dedicated and loyal employee base.”

“We were grateful for the opportunity to work with Ginger and the PCH team,” said Bryan Vahlberg, Managing Partner of Infinity Capital Partners and lead advisor to Physician’s Choice Hospice. “Having reached such an important milestone in the business, the chance to turn the company over to a national platform like Traditions was the perfect end to an otherwise incredible entrepreneurial story.”

The acquisition of PCH, alongside its recent acquisition of Faith Hospice, positions Traditions Health as the largest hospice provider in the state of Oklahoma. These acquisitions are part of Traditions’ broader growth strategy throughout the United States, having completed over 15 acquisitions since partnering with Dorilton Capital in 2011.

“We are excited about our recent entrance into the Oklahoma market,” said Bryan Wolfe, president and CEO of Traditions Health. “With a large presence and headquarters in the state of Texas, our growth into the adjacent state of Oklahoma is both a natural extension of our footprint and part of our rapid national expansion. We’re thrilled to bring the PCH team onboard and to continue providing the level of service and care they’ve worked so hard to be known for.”

Michael Landerer, Senior Vice President of Dorilton Capital said of the transaction, “We couldn’t be more pleased with Traditions’ strategic growth into the Oklahoma market. PCH will be an incredible addition to the growing team and will only serve to bolster Traditions’ reputation of providing the highest level of care to its patients.”
